Ways to see the work
Project Reports & Export in TaskRely
Reports turn your tasks into something you can actually show someone - a quick snapshot of progress, a side-by-side of how each department is doing, or one complete report to hand to a client or your own manager. You don't build any of it yourself; it's already there, three tabs deep.
Getting to Reports
Open your project, click the ••• icon at the top, and choose Reports - it sits next to Settings and Insights in that same menu. Like Insights, this needs at least Write access to the project; a Read-only member can't open it. Once you're in, three tabs sit at the top: Overview, By Department, and Full Report.
One thing all three need to work at all: a status marked Done in Settings → Statuses. Without one, TaskRely has no way to know what "completed" means for your project, and every tab just tells you to set that first.
Overview
The default tab. Six numbers up top - total tasks, completed, pending, completion rate, overdue, and average time from creation to done - then charts breaking tasks down by status, by priority, by size, and by who's completed the most. Below that, a completion trend for the last eight weeks, and two short lists: your longest-running tasks and anything currently overdue.
By Department
The same kind of numbers as Overview, but split out per department instead of rolled into one total - a table listing each department's total tasks, completed, completion rate, and overdue count, plus a pie chart of how the project's work is spread across departments and a bar chart comparing their completion rates. This only shows something useful once your project actually has more than one department; with just one, it's the same numbers as Overview.
Full Report
Everything from the other two tabs, plus a team roster (every member, their role, and their task count) and a department table with headcounts - all in one long, presentable page. This is the tab with the export button: click Download PDF and the whole page saves as a PDF file, ready to hand to a client or your own manager without them needing a TaskRely login.
