Task Submission Links in TaskRely
Dragging a card to Done tells you someone says the work is finished. It doesn't tell you where the finished thing actually lives - the PR, the deployed page, the design file. Submission links close that gap with almost no extra effort.
How it works
When a task moves into a status flagged Done, a dialog pops up asking for a submission - a name for the deliverable and a link to it: a pull request, a Figma file, a shared doc, a deployed staging URL, whatever fits the work. It attaches directly to the task and stays visible to anyone who opens it afterward. You can skip it if a link genuinely doesn't apply, and add or edit it later from the task itself whenever you want.
Why it exists
It turns "done" from a claim into something checkable. A manager reviewing a sprint doesn't have to ask "can you send me the link" for the fifth task in a row - it's already sitting on the card. And because the prompt fires automatically the moment a task completes, it becomes the default way the team finishes work, not an extra step someone has to remember.
Where it fits
The prompt is tied to the same Done flag that drives recurring tasks and, where enabled, performance scoring - one more reason it's worth making sure every project has exactly one column clearly marked Done. Without that flag set, TaskRely has no signal that a task actually finished, submission prompt included.
