User Profiles in TaskRely
Every TaskRely user has a public profile - a photo, a short bio, a few links, and their average star rating from finished projects. It's the closest thing to a work history page, and it's meant to be seen by teammates, not just you.
A profile shows:
- Their name and profile photo.
- Their average star rating, if any projects have rated them.
- A short bio, if they've written one.
- Any links they've added - a portfolio, a LinkedIn, whatever they want visible.
Anyone signed in to TaskRely can open someone's profile - it's not locked to people on the same project as you.
To edit your own, click Edit profile on your profile page, or go straight to your account settings. From there you can:
- Upload a new photo.
- Change your display name.
- Write or update your bio - up to 160 characters.
- Add or remove links, each with its own label and URL.
Your email shows on this form but can't be changed there - it's tied to how you sign in. A View public profile button lets you jump straight to what everyone else sees, so you can check it looks right before you move on.
Right at the bottom sits a Danger Zone with one option: Delete Account. It's exactly what it says - permanent, with no way to undo it, so use it only when you actually mean to.
