Priorities, Sizes & Labels in TaskRely
Priority, size, and labels are the three tags that sit on every task - how urgent it is, how big it is, and what kind of work it is. They're what make sorting, filtering, and reporting actually mean something later - skip them, and a task list is just a list. Here's how to set them on a task you're already looking at.
- Open the task. Priority and size live in the details panel on the right - each shows "None" until you set one.
- Click Priority, and pick an option. The dropdown lists every priority your project has, plus "None" to clear it.
- Click Size, and do the same. Same dropdown pattern, just a different list.
- Scroll to Labels, and click the small gear icon. This opens a checklist of every label in the project - tick as many as apply (a task can carry more than one), then click outside the popover to save.
That's the whole flow - nothing here needs a save button, each change applies the moment you pick it.
Want to add a new priority, size, or label, rename one, recolor it, or change the order they show up in? That's a different screen - see Project settings & access for how the option lists themselves work.
